As former players, we realize how important a positive coaching experience can be. We are looking for coaches that can teach skills and sportsmanship while promoting an overall fun time for the athletes. Anyone can be a successful coach if they are dedicated and passionate about kids and football.
It’s important to remember that the coach dictates what kind of experience the athletes will have with flag football. Positive coaching promotes confidence in players and teaches life lessons illustrating that winning is not the most important thing.
How are sponsors recognized? Sponsors are recognized on our website for a minimum of 6-8 weeks and included in ‘all-league’ emails asking for our families to patronize their business. Sponsors also get social media exposure on Instagram. FNL sponsors will also receive a free, team plaque at the end of the season from their team and can put their name on the back of jerseys at team’s discretion and team’s responsibility to fulfill.

What we’re looking for:

  • Be able to teach skills and sportsmanship to kids ages 7 – 13.

  • Be able to dedicate one practice day, and one game day each week. Games will be on Friday nights at Santiago Canyon College.

  • Have knowledge of flag football and rules of the game.

  • Be willing to communicate with parents and league directors.
